Marble Falls

South of Hico on Highway 281 is Marble Falls. Marble Falls is a resort-type community.

(The structures on the left are road-side picnic tables, for those who want to stop.)

Stopping at Marble Falls, I wandered around.

 Marble Falls has a strip of cute shops.
And what is that in the bookshop?..why, it's a JayHawk! in Texas!
(sacrilege!)...

Down Main Street, there are also a number of sculptures.

Marble Falls even has a movie theater.

 The day ended perfectly, really.
